I’ve been coming to Spruce to get my haircut with Christopher for a few months now, and I gotta say he’s been the best barber I’ve had in Denver in my 3 years here. He’s super detail oriented, takes his time, and really pays attention to what you ask for. Goes above and beyond. The shop itself is really cool in general, great vibe, and I am sure the other barbers are also amazing, since it’s generally pretty busy. Also, prices are fair for the area.
There’s something special about people who spend their lives serving others and then continue that same mission in business. The owner of Spruce Barbershop is a retired firefighter who stepped away from a 15+ year career to focus more on family and build something meaningful for the community. updated review: I've been in since and had good experiences, so i'm giving stars back. original review (one star): I came in and saw [redacted]. I told him I was growing my hair out and I just wanted it cleaned up. He took more than half the length off! More than 6 months of growing it out! He had my back turned to the mirror the entire time so I couldn’t see what was going on.
