Had the worst experience with Ray. 1.) She was 15 minutes late for the appointment 2.) For the haircut I asked for “2 buzzer on the sides and a 1/2 inch off the top” she said “You have 2.5 inches on top, how about 1 inch off to top?” I said ok, she proceeded to take 2”+ off the top 3.) she used a buzzer on the TOP of my head 4.) the haircut is entirely too short, completely uneven and I walked out with what looks like a uneven military buzzcut - COMPLETELY different hairstyle than what I walked in with 5.) Just wanna give Brittney a big shout for doing an amazing job with my son for his first haircut! She’s cut his dad’s hair and always done an awesome job, but I was not expecting how great she would be with kids! She was amazing at keeping my one year old comfortable and entertained for his first cut, and honestly the entire staff was super kind and welcoming. Great vibe, great first cut, 10/10!
Jimmy did such a bad job that I had to go to another barber shop to get my hair fixed. Despite explicitly asking for my hair to be kept long, I inexplicably now have a full fade almost to skin. I am supposed to be starting a new job on Monday and if I did not go to another place, I would be embarrassed to show my face there with the haircut I received. $50 absolutely wasted.
Visited during Christmas break from Dallas/Fort Worth and Jimmy did a stellar job; I gave him references (pictures) from bald fades I have had done back home and he was able to get the job done as a professional should. Great atmosphere, great service 10/10
I’ve been coming to Spruce for over a year now and love the overall vibe of this place. Daris gave me an awesome haircut the other day (that i’ve constantly been getting compliments about) so I had to leave a review. We switched up my hairstyle and he was able to do exactly what I wanted. Cheers Daris - see you next time!
