The cup cakes that were delivered to my daughters school was a big disappointment when we tasted them! They had this nasty after taste to them maybe like they were frozen and the frosting was so nasty they it was not edible to eat. NEVER AGAIN! What a waste of money and even ruined my daughters birthday! The Vanilla Bake Shop in Santa Monica is the Best. They are always fresh!
I enjoyed my cupcake! Although it was a bit dry. I loved being able to get a glass of milk with it. Excellent customer service.
After all the reviews and craze on tv and the owner of the franchises being so critical towards others cupcakes, I thought that I was in for a real treat. I attended a baby shower and the cupcakes were served there I took a vanilla that's usually a "go to you can't miss flavor" was I wrong it was horrible dry, flavorless, even the icing was hard a flavorless. Basically the best ice cream in town. I like the fruit selections that they have everything is incredible and goes with a little toppings at times.

Today during our daughters Eight Year Old Birthday party another parents was excited to tell us of the Leap Day offer at Sprinkles, get a Dozen Cupcakes if today is your birthday. Our daughter loves Sprinkles, or did, until we went to the store. I recently visited Sprinkels on a trip to Dallas with one of my good friends. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with their cupcakes. Not only were they a bit costly, but the taste wasn't all that good. The double chocolate cupcake and the pumpkin cupcake had the best flavors. I definitely enjoyed sharing them. But the taste (or lack of taste) with vanilla/Chocolate and red velvet were terrible. On my next trip to TX, I think I'll stop at another bakery if I'm in the mood for cupcakes!!
My husband and I are avid fans of Food Network's Cupcake Wars. One of the judges is the founder of Sprinkles Cupcakes. After being inspired to buy cupcakes, we tried several in our neighborhood and found them to be dry and flavorless with sickenly sweet icing. HEAVENLY, MOIST, BETTER THAN AN EXCELLENT CAKE BAKER, HAVING TASTE, AND TO DIE FOR. Other famous cupcakes, other great cupcakes, just don't have the moistness and flavor. Others that I've tasted look good, but NOT TASTE AND A LITTLE DRY. From Beverly Hills to Santa Barbara and other cupcakes so called experts, just don't get it--don't have it. SPRINKLES CUPCAKES HAVE IT AND THEY GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
