My experience with Dr Challa was the most unprofessional experience I have ever encountered, with a professional of his calibre, I would expect him to be confident in his diagnosis and knowledge, and if an 82yo takes her grandaughter to advocate for her, it shouldn't be an issue. Dr Challa acted like an insecure child during the appointment, taking the questions I asked personally rather than objectively. Felt dismissed and disregarded. Shut me down every time I tried to tell him how my symptoms impact my life. I was at the time I saw him bed bound and he gave me no treatment and sent me away for more tests. I wasn’t even afforded the opportunity to explain how debilitated I was. I went to see another Dr who diagnosed and treated me at the first appointment and who has given me my life back. Had I stuck with Dr Challa I would still be waiting for my follow up appointment and would have had to miss my own wedding as a result. ... read more

If I could, I would’ve given Dr Challa a 0 rating. Never have I ever come across such a disrespectful, arrogant, dismissive, uncooperative specialist or any human being for that matter. I am extremely disappointed with the treatment my father and I received from Dr. Veera Raghava Prasad Challa at Springwood Cardiology & Specialist Centre.
