We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent production of The Shark is Broken. The 3-man cast portraying the Jaws cast Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfus, and Roy Scheider gave a riveting performance. Their mannerisms and voices so closely emulated their respective characters that you felt like you were a fly on the wall of the Orca. I am constantly impressed by the quality of talent here in Colorado Springs. The venue, Fifty-niner Speakeasy, is intimate and offers a fine selection of eats and adult beverages.

I have never been to this theater, but have finally found a play and the time to see it. I am confused by the pricing, and tried calling the phone number listed. I got a message 'The subscriber you have dialed is not in service." I have no way to communicate with them. I do not have the time to search for their location without knowing what hours someone is at the phones. So, I cannot rate the venue or the acting until I'm able to attend a play.

This was our first time to visit and we really enjoyed it! Loved the front end and hidden theatre in the back. Small and intimate environment. We were celebrating an anniversary and the cocktails were fun and beer was reasonably priced. We had dinner before arriving so we didn't eat however the food coming out looked really good. We will definitely come back!
