We used this place for a youth camp for our church. The camp sites were a bit tight but there were a lot of us. The bathrooms were good. Other facilities were great and in good condition. The boys loved swimming in the pond. It's kind of a chore to get too but its in a beautiful location. Make sure you have a vehicle that can drive up steep hills and on uneven terrain. Getting to the camps sites requires a decent climb up a hill. Our boys did not enjoy walking that everyday.
When I was in my twenties I was thrown from my own horse and he almost killed me. My trainer said if you don't get back on a horse you never will. Well, on my 70th birthday I decided to take a chance and go for another ride. The place we chose was close, convenient and in an area that looked very scenic. I snuck away to the mountains ⛰️ for some mental clarity and seclusion. I could NOT have picked a better spot!!!! This place is very well run. The bathrooms are impeccable. The seclusion is real and perfect 😍. I stopped here for one night on my journey 4 nights ago and am still here. They are going to get tired of seeing me 😝
We did not stay here but we went out on a trail ride here! The staff were very friendly and the horses were good for someone who hasn’t been on a horse in a while! The trail we went on was beautiful and I will definitely be back again.
