I would recommend this hotel for a weekend stay to anyone. The room was very nice, inexpensive, right across the parking lot is Harrah's casino (slots only) and the Louisiana Downs racetrack. I wanted to do something special for my husband's 40th birthday, we live in Texas so it is not like I could just run up there and decorate the room, so Dewayne from the front desk, not only went to a party place and picked up decorations for me, he decorated our room.
