I’ve been a Marriott member since the 1970s, and this was the worst Marriott property I’ve ever stayed at. The SpringHill Suites Sarasota/Bradenton is in unacceptable condition and should not carry the Marriott name. Serious security issues (non-functioning card readers, unlocked exterior doors, faulty room lock, unlocked pool/fitness center), safety hazards (sharp, peeling pool surface), and major cleanliness problems (dirty windows, stained carpets, dirty stairwells, bugs and hair on the bedspread) made this stay extremely... read more
Staff great, hotel needs maintenance big time. Heater did not work, the tv's were a joke, maintenance guy ??
Well first of all out here for business I am told I can't sit outside and sip a cold beer on the weekend with my brothers
Marriott should remove their name from this place. The front desk people were great but down hill from there. Pool was bad, had to move roo.s because the door wouldnt lock, ran out of coffee daily. I would never stay there again.
Man fühlt sich wie auf einer südamerikanischen Kinderparty beim Check in und beim Frühstück. Das war eine unerträgliche Lautstärke. Wenn wir nicht die Nähe zum Flughafen gebraucht hätten, wären wir sofort wieder abgereist. Die Mitarbeiterin beim Check in war überfordert, da sie ein Zimmer Upgrade geben musste. Das Zimmer war um 13 Uhr immer noch nicht gereinigt, wir waren aber ab 8.30 bis 13.00 Uhr unterwegs. Es wäre folglich reichlich Zeit für das Putzteam gewesen.
