We had a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites and wanted to give a special shoutout to two outstanding team members who truly made our visit memorable. Sharod Beach, the manager, went above and beyond—working multiple back-to-back shifts and still managing to greet guests with a warm smile, a kind word, and helpful attitude every time we saw him. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Best things compared to other hotels of this style are quiet air conditioners and excellent room darkening shades
The front desk staff is fabulous. Thank you Mr. Beach for helping us figure out our radio in the rental car, to Nancy for your kind smile and professionalism, to Kiara -- figuring out my airline changes and printing of the tickets and to Donovan for the excellent job of keeping the breakfast area spotless and well stocked. The hotel is so quiet and clean. It's 8 miles from the airport and only 30 minutes from Newport. We would stay here again for sure, when in town.
Room was extremely dirty, reeked of smoke, hair all over the bathroom floor, the couch was stained with food and the rug had crumbs and hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. On top of it, the manager was completely unapologetic and dismissive.
Don't be afraid of the 1 star reviews... They freaked me out when I booked a stay here... Figured I might have to stay at the shelter instead... But the staff was great, the rooms were newly renovated, the breakfast was delicious, the bedding was very comfortable... Perfect spot.
