This room is very poorly designed for a hotel room. While it does look modern and new, the glass sliding doors allow light into the room while others are sleeping. The doors are also unsafe as my son smashed his fingers between the handle and the door as he slid the door closed. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, not the Marriot mattress. This hotel is only getting 1 star because of the excellent customer service we received when needed (had to switch rooms, brought new keys right up to room). Everyone was very friendly and very personable. If I could give 0 stars I would. Now for the 0-star rating portion: - Rooms have THE worst layout I have ever stayed in. There is no segmented bathroom behind a wall, your bed FACES the SPLIT shower in one room (with pocket doors) and the toilet room (with pocket doors).
