I received and email from Springhill Suites cancelling my reservation only one day prior to my stay at Springhill Suites in Mystic but was offered a similar reservation at a nearby Hyatt. I immediately called and was told I would be sent a reservation to stay at the Hyatt within two hours! I was on a plane and couldn't check on it again until evening when I landed. Marriott did not do their best with this one. Hotel staff was friendly but that was really the only good part. The heater in the room was set to 80° when I arrived. Additionally, there was a crack in the window glass that was covered with packing tape. The bathroom tile was done with shoddy caulking in some spots, and the wallpaper was peeling. Overall for $250+ per night, this was not worth it. Pretty disappointed.

This hotel is gross. As many others have mentioned, there looks like mold on the bathroom ceilings, wallpaper is peeling everywhere, lots of stains on the floors and walls and even my lamp, and the place smelled weird. When I took down the do not disturb sign because I wanted my room cleaned it was clear that the floor did not get vacuumed at all. Giving it two stars just because the bed itself seemed clean and I've seen worse before. I picked this because it was one of two options that my work's travel system offered but if... read more

Stayed four days, super convenient! Jamaine was our "Goggle " of Courtesy.! Super friendly, very professional when necessary.! Handled every situation! Even" took out the trash! "🤣 Eric the maintenance tech was caretaking everything! every time I saw him! Someone poor some concrete in his shoes! And Jill,who we delt with a few times, super nice!! Seemed happy to be there, for all of us! ! Way to go SpringHill Suites !!!
