Great hotel. Outstanding service. Day'Ton is a star. Understands meaning of hospitality. From late night greeting to early morning departure all was first-rate.

Great location off the freeway. Super clean and friendly staff. Hot tub was nice (although a little heavy on the chlorine). Breakfast was standard hotel fair-eggs, waffles, yogurt, etc. Was able to check in a little early so we could put our stuff in the room before going tailgating which was nice of the staff to accommodate. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a reservation made for this hotel since August and arrived in mid October to find out they over sold the hotel. Offered me no recompense besides sending me next door to a Hilton. Be wary of booking as you may not actually get your room.

The SpringHill Suites, Portage: Where Low Expectations Go to Die :) Our stay was remarkably quiet and peaceful, astonishingly, hear ourselves think without the accompaniment of next door's ventilation issues or hallway drama. Hotel and our room was clean, updated, and nice. We would absolutely recommend the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Kalamazoo Portage. It’s everything you’d expect from a great hotel and, blessedly, none of what you’ve come to expect from the rest.
