I can't in good faith recommend a place where a guy wearing a company shirt entered my room when the do not disturb sign was up. He had no papers or tools with him and was startled when he saw me. I had left earlier using the elevator but used the stairs to come back. My wife and little girl were the only ones there while I was gone. I jumped up from the bed and caught him in the hallway but he apologized and quickly disappeared without any explanation. This left me with a less than safe feeling at an expensive hotel. A newer hotel which presents a bit of a quandary as to why their features/systems don't work correctly. The water heaters in the rooms take forever. You can plan on waiting at least five minutes for the shower water to warm up. The AC on the fourth floor doesn't seem to work great either. The pool is a little bigger than a hot tub and is mostly located in the shade of the east side of the building. As of late March, the pool is still closed. One of the two elevators has a broken sensor, so you can count on the elevator door ... read more

Super clean place! Have stayed here multiple times, staff is always friendly.
My fam, dog and I stayed here passing through and it’s basically brand spanking new. Very clean, comfortable beds, good breakfast and friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again on our trips to the smokies!
