Yikes. If you want a good night's sleep, I do not recommend booking at this hotel. They have an event space on the main floor, and when I stayed, there was some sort of party that went on until 2 am. We had a room on the 3rd floor, and ear plugs couldn't cut the incessant, driving bass that was reverberating through the room. When I booked this room, I was given no advanced notice that this would be a feature of our stay. Had I known, I would not have booked this hotel. Got harassed by a homeless person in the lobby in broad daylight. Stay anywhere else.
I really enjoyed Durham and this hotel is top notch. I was on a work trip at Duke University and this spot was a great place to stay!
Brenteni works the front desk. She is the best part of staying here at the hotel! She is patient and kind and goes out of her way to help and make her guests feel comfortable. I even left something in my hotel and she was exceptional at helping get it back to me with ease and efficiency! She needs a raise! Tell your manager I said so! Rooms were spacious. Convenient location for me. Great sunrise view!
