Newish hotel in Placentia with adequate parking. Rooms are huge, but mostly empty space. Th we re is a bed, desk and a large sofa that apparently can become a second bed. There is a desk chair, but the sofa was very uncomfortable with no back support, so basically only one seat in the room. The hotel is situated between a freeway and a busy rail bridge, and was noisy at night. Included breakfast was OK, with plenty of food.
NO HOT WATER - for three days!!! They kept telling us it was fixed, but it didn't actually get fixed for days. Ice cold showers for us and our small children. We didn't leave because they offered to let us change rooms, but didn't follow through despite multiple phone calls. We later found out that it was a hotel-wide issue and switching rooms wouldn't have helped anyway. It's also right next to a loud train. I would never stay here again.
Beware, hotel may add charges to your bill with no way to dispute them. They accused my elderly father of breaking the casing of the television that hangs on the wall above a credenza. They charged him $250 to replace the tv. There was no appeals process. The best part is they accused my evil mastermind father of taking the broken off piece of the television with him when he left.
