I came by Spring Hill Memory Gardens today and I must say the neglect on my families graves is unacceptable. The graves themselves are sinking and disappearing into the grass from lack of attention. You can clearly see they’ve been very poorly maintained with my uncles plaque completely grown over and invisible. We couldn’t even find him at first and then had to rip up crab grass from where it entirely obscured the headstone. Very poorly maintained and very upset to see their plots maintained this way. Lisa was very helpful with explaining in detail the differences between different burial items and headstone sizes/prices. We popped in without an appt (sorry) and she stopped eating her lunch to service us. Thank you so much again Lisa for the friendliness and all of your help. Kudos to Lisa Berger, Senior Family Service Counselor for Springhill Memory Gardens, Hebron, MD, for outstanding customer service. Initially the headstone vase for my parents' gravesite was unusable due to accumulated dirt and debris, so I had to insert flowers into the adjacent ground (first picture). The flowers were at risk of being removed for noncompliance but Lisa facilitated getting the vase repaired (second picture). Lisa was exceptionally professional and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond to support our family during an incredibly emotional and difficult time.
My mother got buried out here on April 4, and the grave site was full of water and left not properly put in the ground. This is very hurtful and disgusting. With the money they charge to get buried out here, it should have been properly and professionally done. It's been 9 days and it looks like this.
