I was referred to the Springfield Veterans Center by the Decatur VA Outpatient Clinic. I contacted the Veterans Center this morning to inquire about services that they provide. I asked the guy that I was talking to about a PTSD group that meets there bi-weekly. He told me that all of their groups are closed. He also informed me that if a veteran is already receiving treatment at the VA, then that veteran will NOT be permitted to attend the PTSD group. The guy I spoke with said his name was Shawn.
