Been trying to get through since last week for a call back from a doctor which is impossible in this doctors! Finally got through today which is a Tuesday for receptionist to just say hello, never once asked for any of my info, I then proceeded to explain why I was calling for her to cut me off and say “ today is for medical emergency’s only, is it a medical emergency” which it isn’t so I replied “ no “ and she told me to ring back another day. Constant engaged tone. Are sick people seriously expected to travel to the surgery on the off chance that they can book a telephone consultation? This is appalling. A simple solution would be to have a sensible telephone queue system. Totally in shock that such a simple, compassionate system is not in place
