Very nice touch of history and how it was back in the day when people traveled
Very clean bathrooms and bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable. Service was great! Thank you for a great experience!
These reviews have to be the fakest reviews if I've ever seen any! This place is the worst! No water barley would come out of the community shower that anyone can walk in on you! Your bedroom door doesn't lock! You can see through the doors in the other rooms that don't lock. Very very very unexcusable hotel. The dogs bark, there's a bug zapper in the hallway of this house that they claim is a hotel! If any other hotel had vacancies I would have stayed there. Horrible. The kids there that ran the place were rude. Just horrib... read more
Friends and I were traveling thru the area and needed a place to stay. This was a welcome surprise, as we are used to chain hotels. The family who owned the hotel greeted us right away, helped carry our bags upstairs, and made us feel very welcome. The rooms were spacious and clean. We did have a shared bathroom (some rooms do have private bathrooms) but that was fine by us. We definitely recommend this hotel.
Fine stay for one night during a cross country trip. Staff was friendly and I appreciated the really historic feel of the building. My only disappointment was that they tacked on a pet fee after I made the non-refundable room reservation. I reviewed the website thoroughly prior to booking and found nothing for a pet fee. While I do not mind paying a pet fee, it does feel icky to only know about it after confirming.
