Springdale Park & Pool is not being reasonable or fair fantastic facility -we've served as a vendor many years w/ zoo & ponies- sad when we asked to set up in shade they put us by the cars instead of in the middle of the field under 2 big trees, and the few little trees right there by the road didn't offer much shade and no grass- the zoo was set up in shade that moved in 2 hours and the ponies had to walk in the sun all day. Springdale Park & Pool is Cool this is a good place to go if you want to spend the whole day outdoors - we've gone several times now. We bring stuff to bbq for lunch & dinner and then go to the pool when it gets too hot. its a park setting so you have plenty of room to throw horseshoes, a ball, or whatever games you want to play. have never had any problems there & the pool is so big that even when there are alot of people there, there's still plenty of room in the pool.
Huge pool It is a fun pool to go on a summer's day, but there are a ton of teens there, so if you are wanting to take a family, take that into consideration. It is a huge pool and it has a concession stand. Good time.
Springdale Park & Pool This is a great place to go on a hot summer day. There is a huge pool with diving boards. You have plenty of space to swim around in and you don't feel cramped. The admisson is reasonable for a day at the pool and you can even go out and grill lunch or have a picnic. They even have a great kids section in the pool. Not a bad place to spend the day with the kids.
Such a fun park and great big pool!! This is a great park with a huge pool! What is cool,you can bring in a can of food which they give to the food banks to help people in need and they take a dollar off your admission adults is then $5 to enter. Lots of Fun at a reasonable price! Yesterday was my first time visiting Springdale. I was very happy to find an affordable swimming hole within a half hours drive from my south city home. Even better was the affordable admission of just six dollars. I had some concerns-I haven't been swimming in years, and we had five children with us when we went.
