I was there recently at the Springdale job corps center trying to accomplish the program for protective services. While I was there I constantly felt unsafe and uncomfortable with the amount of drama, complaints, and terminations for random things. There were few good people but all of them said get out as fast as you can, which is very telling of how it is. unbelievable this place is still up and running, last I time I checked a student got sexually assaulted by one of those wannabe security guards. I remember reading and hearing about on the news. The director who was running the program at the time was a complete joke. I attended here 2012 and not surprised nothing has changed lmao
The people that worked there are trash. Their communication level is garbage. I really disappointed to hear they shut down. It's a nice place to help young people!
I graduated from here in 2012 and this program had me change my entire life around for the best. All of the teachers and staff were caring and went the extra mile to help you. I still recommend Job Corps to teenagers and young adults for anyone who wants to get their GED, diploma, their drivers license, or to learn a trade. It’s a safe place for people to go while they can better themselves for their futures.
