Do not send your children here. I worked at the center for five years. Some of the staff genuinely care. But others not so much. I witnessed one staff named Sabrina, bully multiple staff, be inappropriate with at least one student, manipulate and undermine. She gossiped to get others to lose their jobs. I can unequivocally state that she is an unsafe person to both work with and unsafe for your children to be around.

I’m at the Springdale area at Troutdale, OR, I’ve seen things and it’s meh for me, not good, not bad. I’m indifferent. I’ve been here for three weeks. There’s one incident of a kid named BB, he was my roommate before switching rooms because of his anxiety, molds, dirty bathroom. The room I was in has bunk beds and large bathroom, the only room with two bunk beds for five people. I left the room to a new room for four people. I was there recently at the Springdale job corps center trying to accomplish the program for protective services. While I was there I constantly felt unsafe and uncomfortable with the amount of drama, complaints, and terminations for random things. There were few good people but all of them said get out as fast as you can, which is very telling of how it is.
