My aunt was there for 2 years, first as rehab, then transitioned to nursing home care. Recently she had a severe pneumonia and CHD. She was treated at the nearby UNC Johnson hospital, she returned to Springbrook under hospice care. The staff has always been great and they will tell you she was, too. She was always grateful for what was done for her. They all came to her room to welcome her home. So sweet.
It's safer for her doesn't hurt anybody
Upon looking at previous reviews for this facility throughout the years, it seems to stay consistent with short staff, making it difficult for the staff members to accommodate and service the individuals in need whom are all paying to be there. I chose this facility because it was closer in proximity to me, and I felt like since my mother was only needing short-term care to assist with getting back to her regular schedule that they could accommodate her appropriately. My father was recently at Springbrook and had an excellent experience. First, all the staff from admin to nurses to PTs, cooks, maintenance, cleaning were all so friendly. They were always interactive and very responsive to my dad’s needs. His room and bed sheets were thoroughly cleaned every day. And the nursing staff worked very hard to keep him clean and well shaven. Kudos to the nursing staff for their hard work. We definitely noticed and so did my dad. Springbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation is truly an outstanding place to work. The staff here are incredibly supportive and always willing to help, making it feel like a real family environment. What I appreciate most is how understanding and flexible the team is—if you’re going through personal issues, they work with you instead of against you.
