Stayed here in Feb 2026 on a whim, never been to Houghton Lake or the surrounding area before. Incredible room (Ausable Room) and so many kind little extras. The Frog was so enchanting as well! This was our first stay away from our kids in five years and was incredible. We will reccomend to all considering this area. We are already planning on coming back this year!
We stayed in the Forest view room that had a jacuzzi. The room was very clean and spacious, on the lower level with a nice view of the forest. The staff was very friendly and the morning breakfast delicious. We also received a $30 dinner voucher for the Tiki bar restaurant next door which had live music and a festive atmosphere. These rooms are well worth the price. We highly recommend Spring Brook Inn!

Such a wonderful place! This was our second time staying here, first under the new owners, and everything was perfect. The food is amazing and the staff are wonderful. Very clean, relaxing and peaceful place.
