I usually don’t write reviews but this was not a good experience. I will start off by saying my masseuse was very nice but the massage itself was the worst massage I have ever received. I chose the hot stone aromatherapy service and only 5 minutes out of the whole hour service was the hot stone used, and there was no aromatherapy at all. What made the service the worst was the pain. This was one of the worst massage experiences I’ve had so far. The massage therapist seemed completely untrained — she had no clear technique and just pressed randomly on different parts of my body. It was uncomfortable and painful, not relaxing at all. The worst part was at the end. I was told the massage would be $60 beforehand. My massage therapist’s phone was vibrating nonstop for the first 10 minutes, including on the table near my arm and by my feet. When I asked her to please put her phone on silent, she said okay and said she put it out of the room. It kept vibrating so I asked again. She said okay but then it went off again and I could see the light from the phone on the bed right next to my side. Disappointed and confused. I specifically asked for a Swedish massage, but what I got felt more like someone repeatedly pressing down on me through a blanket—no technique, no flow, just relentless pressing. It was like she mistook me for a pillow. I don’t know who’s doing the hiring here, but it felt like zero training was involved. Sadly, not relaxing, not therapeutic, and definitely not what I came for.
