Advised me to have my son receive a palette expander I took him for a 2nd opinion to the orthodontist and he advised me that it was completely unnecessary.
I can't say enough positive things about Dr Scow at Spring Valley Dentistry! She is an amazing human and an amazing Dentist. We have a special needs child with many challenges, totally tube fed, snoring issues with sleep issues and couldn't close his mouth enough to get a tight seal around a straw to even drink well, he only could sip things. When I talked to her about some of his issues she said..."I need to see him"! I told her he was on Medicaid and they don't accept that for payment and she said..."You bring him here, I ... read more
We can't say enough good things about the wonderful care our 91-year-old mother received. Dr. Connor did an excellent job with her dental procedure, and her discomfort was minimal. Later that weekend, Dr. Skow went above and beyond by making a house call to help mom -- on her day off, no less! She was so kind, patient, and gentle -- Mom felt comfortable, heard, and truly cared for. We're so grateful for both doctors' professionalism and genuine compassion!
Dr. Skow and her team are amazing! When my son was just 3 weeks old, she released three lip ties and a tongue tie. Fast forward to around 6 months — we noticed his oxygen levels were dropping when he slept, which was really scary. I brought him back to Dr. Skow, and she suspected his tongue might need another release. Before doing anything, we tried myofunctional therapy (which helped with other things), but his oxygen still wasn’t where it should be. They were able to squeeze my daughter into their schedule and made her feel comfortable. Kali and Dr. Connors' did a phenomenal job with my kiddo who gets extremely anxious at the dentist. We left there with my daughter saying "This is my new dentist! I really like it here!" Thank you SV Dentistry!
