the bakery is why we pass through Spring Valley... Well sort of. My mother lived in Spring Valley for a few of her childhood years, and then my uncle became pastor of the Baptist church in town in the 90's, so we've spent many a Memorial Day weekend in or around Spring Valley, and the bakery is always a MUST. Super fresh donuts (go for the bismarks!!!) and we always stock up on the snowflake rolls for picnic cold cut sandwiches. I think we bought out their entire baked stock of rolls more than once.
