When you have a rat problem, all they will do is give you sticky traps. Even when you call the city to report the problem, the only solution they have is sticky traps. If you don't want to live with rats, don't move here. All of the other complaints about general infestation are true too. Rats, roaches, water bugs, etc.
The key card situation is ridiculous. Even just to exit the complex on foot you need a keycard to get through the little walk-thru gate, or else you're literally trapped inside. So if your spouse already left with the keycard then you are forced to stay home at that point, as they only allow ONE KEYCARD PER HOUSEHOLD. This also means if you have a friend come over you'll have to walk him to the gate every time cuz he won't be able to leave (or enter) without a keycard if he came on foot.
