I feel that some people simply get into the wrong business. We all voluntarily choose to bring an animal into our lives and do the right thing. It is not acceptable to be given attitude and the animals sense that. You can have a nice building and serve cookies but none of that matters in relation to how your animal is treated and they do not have to tell us to go somewhere else.
We were on vacation. My dog sitter contacted us with concerns about our senior dog. I immediately called Spring Oaks to make an appointment for the next day (Saturday). I told the receptionist that my dog was very sick. The receptionist proceeded to laugh at me, saying they had not been open on Saturday’s for a year due to COVID. We absolutely love taking our two girls (Aspen & Kimber) To Spring Oaks Animal Care Center not only to see Dr. Jackson but to board with their favorite girl Kayla.

We have been going to Dr Alshouse since the 1980s. We have recently returned to Deland after 6 years. Spring Oaks has been wonderful through the years and through the pets. I always compared our SC veterinary hospital to Spring Oaks. It’s great to be back and I know our cat #6 will get the very best of care.
Best animal clinic we have ever used. Very clean, professional, and caring. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. FYI: Not the first animal clinic that we have used in DeLand
The staff at Spring Oaks Animal Care are terrific! The groomer is the very best, and I really reccomend you bring your pets to them. Doctor Alshouse is absolutely one of the best doctors around. We have known her for many years and she has actually helped save the life of one of our Sheltie puppies. Go check this place out you will love this group of friendly people!!
