1. It is still listed as an Overseas Student Health Cover direct billing clinic on the medibank oshc app. For this specific reason I booked an appointment from 42 km away. The receptionist didn't know anything about an oshc and told me to claim it later. 2. BEWARE OF LAUREL - VERY RUDE, ARROGANT AND ENTITLED PRACTICE MANAGER I have been seeing Dr Akra and Dr Lin for sometime now. While I have been very happy with the Doctors and Receptionists Aimee and Marie, my conversation today with Laurel the Practice Manager was extremely disappointing and completely shocking. Laurel the receptionist is a rudest person I have ever delt with no empathy at all, it's either her way or the highway. I am a Mental Health Patient of theirs as well as General Patient. I forgot to get a Medical Certificate on my vist and she refused to let me get one when I rang back later, she told me I had to make another appointment to get cert (just after the $$$$) This is not the first awful experience with this horrible woman. Edit: even the practices response to this review is dishonest. If all the issues had been addressed, then I may have not needed to make a HCCC complaint. As it stands I maintain my request for the practice to refrain from contacting me, including through family members as was attempted today. Fraudulent Medicare claims, script records and unethical billing practices.
