We were in a desperate situation for my mentally ill, 76 year old sister who we’d cared for in our home for decades. Fearing she would outlive us, and she’d become the responsibility of our son or daughter (her niece or nephew) we got on waiting list for a senior, low income HUD apartment, which she moved into 2021. The worst facility to bring your loved one to be cared for. Other's express it's a nice fac6. . but the staff is very neglectful. My Mom was sad to leave our house... but We needed assistance. The staff ignore residents. I had to call a few times every night ( as mom was confused) Her belongings were constantly missing. Even a brand new comforter -- really?
