This Rec Center is a total dump with rude staff and abysmal swim coaches. The leadership at the pool / facility could care less. The pool is gross. This place epitomizes the McLean/Fairfax area for me. We pay a fortune in property taxes and the Fairfax County services straight up suck. It’s a disgrace. The county needs to shut the place down. Love the layout. Great machines. Nice pool. Much better layout thank Oakton.love the indoor track. Lots of cleaning materials. VERY NICE FRONT DESK. Indoor lap that has cardio around if- great for HIT training. Bathroom / sink area could be updated or painted CON: Sadly, like oakton - footbeds and decks of cardio is filthy! Beyond disgusting. Hair, crumbs and sticky stuff. If they could take time to vacuum :and clean on a regular- it would be helpful. Overall. Great place - I just won't look down when I'm working out. Only
I really like this rec center pool. I don’t go very often, but when I stayed there it was a staple.
