We stayed at the Pampered Peacock Cabin, a lovely gem in the woods. We were there for 5 nights celebrating our 24th anniversary. The bed and pillows were perfect. For a single shower it was very roomy. The cabin was clean, decorated nicely, and had almost everything we needed. We shopped and brought food for making at the cabin. We dined high end at the Stone House Restaurant. WOW And low end at the Airdale Diner. And we bought BBQ to go to share at the truck stop restaurant The Ozark Mtn Grill. All were very good. We’ve now stayed at this cabin twice, and I think the fact that we intentionally came back says a lot. The first time, we stayed here on our way home after taking our girls back to South Arkansas, and it happened to be a convenient stop for the night, even though the cabin itself feels wonderfully tucked away out in the country. We enjoyed it so much that the second time, when we needed to be in Fort Smith early the next morning, I specifically chose to stay here again instead of staying in Fort Smith. We spent our honeymoon in the Pampered Peacock Cabin and loved it. Beautiful interior details and great views of nature.
