Spread Bagelry is amazing! The staff at this location is wonderful and their bagels are always so delicious. Highly recommend!
I normally love Spread. This time it was a bit disappointing. An employee was airing out their work issues right in site and hearing of customers. I saw an employee who was scooping my cream cheese into a container, give up using a scoop and use her gloved hands!! Gloves do not provide sanitary conditions for the food. It's to protect their hands!! And it took a very long time to gather my 6 bagels as well. An employee tried giving me an excuse when the bagels were in the basket in the display. Does not accept orders over the phone. Came in and they were super slow, easily could have taken my order when he picked up the phone. Covid is over, it's called service. Bathroom wasn't cleaned, dirty toilet.
Takes 50 minutes to make 2 sandwiches.
Rude and condescending cashier really contradicts the “spread the love” message. Wanted to charge $2.25 to add butter to my $9 egg and cheese sandwich!? Hard pass-so many other bagel options in Mount Pleasant.
