This was a very pleasant and enjoyable place to visit. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the menu offered a nice variety of classic comfort-food selections, so there should be something for just about everyone. The only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is the layout of the main dining area. This place really hits the SPOT, ignore the NEIGH-sayers. The MANE attraction is the burgers; flavor is UNBRIDLED. You’ll be LONG IN THE FACE if you pass this restaurant.
We’re new to the area. Went a week ago Thursday around 3:30 pm. Our experience was so positive; we tried to go back this Thursday, later and couldn’t find a parking spot. Through our 1st experience we knew the names of our busier, David, waiter Jess and even a partial owner, Mike. All outstanding. My boyfriend is a food critic and he had a mindful conversation with Mike. He was incredibly receptive. Can’t wait to go back. Outdoor patio is the perfect spot to eat or have a drink. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would! I celebrated my 50th birthday at Spotted Horse in Shelton today, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the exceptional service and delicious food to the warm, inviting atmosphere, every detail exceeded my expectations. Marc was amazing.
