Reconditioned engine £3500 ,crank seal leaked in first week , replaced relucktantly,also tapping noise,said it was injector knock,10000 miles crank seal leaking,tapping noise louder,went back he refused to do work ,sent me to another garage,in notts,this lad straght away said tappets valves have had it,never had been reconditioned ,crank seal was the original on one side ,never been replaced,all in all the bores were cleaned and new rings fitted,thats all,beware this is not a reputable workshop steer clear my advice
Had to wait two & a half months to get my car back after an engine rebuild, lots of faults when I got it back so they had it another three weeks & charged me for the work had it back two days & it was leaking oil, he told me he wished he’d never seen it & booked it into another garage to fix it, engine out again new seals but this time they plugged all the electrics & hoses Ito the right places not recommended, upside it cost them over a thousand £s, picture is going into a wet car park!
