What a great facility! After a shoulder replacement, I had gone to a different physical therapy facility & was released prematurely. My surgeon then recommended SMPT, and Andy has been working with me. He is very knowledgeable, patient, kind & enjoyable, and I am so much better. All of the therapists seem very good. Kathy & Jennifer (office staff) are wonderful, helpful & efficient. It’s kind of silly, but I will miss them all.
SMPT is a top-drawer establishment run by Vance A. McDonald (Andy). I was referred to them by my surgeon after a total knee replacement. The facility was clean, well equipped and convenient. Andy was my physical therapist. He was focused, knowledgeable, professional, personable and gentle. He began with an interview to establish what I needed and wanted to accomplish, after which he presented a treatment plan for me to accomplish my objectives. A receptionist told me in November 2024 that she would have openings in December and I could call back in a few weeks. I called back twice and left messages but never received a call back. When I called back in early May I was told again by a receptionist that she would call me back after she looked at the schedule. Well, it’s been over three weeks now with no return call. My son was referred to SM&PT and we couldn’t be more pleased! Jake was my son’s physical therapist and did such an amazing job with him especially with him being autistic. We looked forward to our Tuesday visits every week as we enjoyed the whole staff and my son’s healing journey. Every single person in this office was extremely kind and cheerful. I would definitely recommend SM&PT to anyone needing physical therapy. Thank you for everything you did to help my son through this process as you all are amazing!
