I am very disappointed with my experience regarding the billing for a medical brace. The office billed my insurance $1,000 for the brace, and after insurance processed the claim and applied it toward my deductible, I was left responsible for approximately $765. My biggest concern is that I was not made aware beforehand that the brace would be billed at such a high amount.
