Dr. Comisar did my shoulder reconstruction surgery in 2003 after a high school sports injury. Went in with recurring pain and frequent dislocations. Fixed everything the first time. Fifteen years later things are still going well and have had no issues. He does great work and he would be my first choice if I ever needed work done again.

I slipped and fell on a flip flop of all things(smile) And I was having issues walking. I went to another doctor and for months he said it was a pulled muscle. Tired of the pain I decided to go to Dr Comisar. Within minutes he did a couple of test. Well come to find out there was a reason for all of my pain. I had a torn quad ligament! Well Dr Comisar was very kind and courteous and explained to me what was going on with my quad. He scheduled me for surgery immediately. He did a wonderful job and repaired my quad tendon. went to see dr Bruce Comisar for a tear in my tricep and possible tear i bicep. my appointment was at 11:00 am. i got to the office at 10:46 and left by 12:57. saw the dr for 8 mins. i filled out , why, when, and how in triplicate about injury. when Dr Comisar finally came to the room, after i have been asleep for approx 1 hr, he did not no why i was there or what was wrong. i was referred to Bruce Comisar ny another orthopedic surgeon because of a possible tear in bicep.
