I am extremely disappointed with the lack of patient care and administrative reliability at this clinic. During my first visit, I was left waiting for over an hour for a 2-minute X-ray and brief results. While I was told I needed physical therapy, the first available slot was over six weeks out. Most frustratingly, after waiting those six weeks, I finally got in to see a physical therapist who billed my insurance $800 just to show me a couple exercises. I have an appt in 2 weeks for my wife . The scheduling folks are very accommodating and passionate. I am sure the surgeons are top notch

This review is for Dr. Nicole Leonard. I went to get my knee checked out due to a likely meniscus tear. She asked some cursory questions and referred me to PT without ever trying to understand. She also told me that if I scheduled PRP injections for both knees at the same time, they would only draw the standard amount of blood. This goes against the research around needing double the platelets per large joint. Virginia Mason said they would need to draw a CC's of blood per knee as expected. Update 2 months after UWMC's response: My wife and I have made multiple attempt to contact the UWMC Patient Relations at the phone number provided as well as the email address. We have not yet managed to talk to a person and nobody has called or emailed us back. I can only conclude that the patient experience team is a fig leaf, solely for lip service.
