I discovered this place after looking for a Philly cheese steak online. This spot popped up in my search results and I'm going to be a regular here now. You will not find a better Philly in town, this is the one you want. Not to mention their BBQ looks PHENOMENAL. Do you like good smells? Brace yourself, when you walk in here, you'll be in heaven. The AC is cool on a hot day, and the owner Rodney is even cooler. Don't sleep on this local gem!
So, were from out of town (45 mins away) and were on our way to an event. This was about 10 minutes out of the way but let me tell you, after having it, we will likely make excuses to come up this way. Catfish and Philly Cheesesteak are bomb! And with things like fried Okra and Fried green tomatoes being on the regular menu and being this good? Make a reason to come here. They have gumbo too! Wife and I were looking for a quick bite, and so thankful we just happened to stumble upon Spoonys! Being a guy from Philly, the cheesesteak was pretty dang on par! I have to say the pineapple tea may haves been one of my favorite drinks I’ve ever had! Just the perfect level of sweetness! Also ordered the strawberry cream cheese burrito amazing! What a wonderful spot! Will definitely be back next time in the area!
Beautiful hole in the wall with Beautiful Folks and Staff. Even though I just moved here from Texas and was raised in South Carolina … these are the places I pray NEVER disappear from this planet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! If you haven’t been you need to come do so. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
