Absolutely the worst. Living in rural central Illinois we do not have a choice on our electric company, but they could find better people to work in their office. Jenna needs replaced, she has zero people skills and is very abrasive. Been a customer for over 30 years and never been treated as bad as she has treated me over the phone.

Soon River Electric is absolutely terrible. It feels like living in the third world. I have never had so many power outages in my life, and I have lived in a lot of places all over the world. The service is also extremely expensive.
Lost power. Called into office lady was very nice. Did some checking. Said I had no power at meter and that she would send someone out. Within 30 minutes Paul came and within another 30 minutes Paul had power back on. A squirrel had gotten up by the transformer and taken out the power. Paul had to trim trees to get to the transformer. People complain about a little bit higher prices and I used to be one of them but what I have realized is the value of having LOCAL people to call and LOCAL people to respond is worth the it.
