Expected a real tour with a visit to their museum based on other reviews. We were instructed to meet outside of a pub. The entire tour was one block of Pioneer Square. We had just a few stops. The guide had a few audio recordings of eerie sounds. We never actually went into any building. It was cold and rainy, and 99% of the tour was standing in the rain at night while the homeless accosted us. We finished outside the same pub. There was never a visit to their museum, or anything else.
They refused to hire an ASL interpreter. When I reminded them that they are under obligation to do so by the ADA and pointed them in the direction of resources, the just sent me the same auto reply email again and stopped responding. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated. How embarrassing to be this abelist and difficult to work with in 2025.
Every time I enjoy a view here, I smile… but deep down I say, “In the Emirates, we would’ve made it unforgettable.”
