On July 15th 2024 I brought my five day old son to Mt Spokane Pediatric Urgent Care with concerns that he was increasingly fatigued, overly lethargic and was taking drastically less milk every feed. In addition I was concerned about a small amount of oddly colored (bright yellow) vomit. The provider performed a basic exam and found no concerns. She advised me that baby was “sleepy and lazy” and that it may be necessary to wipe him with a cold wipe to stimulate him enough to eat. Most likely sensing my continued concern the p... read more

Went in on a holiday and only patient besides person leaving. My daughter was being seen for uti symptoms. No urine test done...told it was likely something else and no scripts given. My daughter was up all night crying and screaming. Her primary got us in within an hour of calling that morning...urine test and a raging uti. Even the Dr was confused as to why she didnt have a urine test at the urgent care? My first and last experience here.

Severely disappointed. The staff are friendly, services were fine for urgent care, however, the prescriptions submitted were not accurate. For my 4 year old, they prescribed a capsule antibiotic. Told me to mix it with yogurt or something to give to her. Well, that did not go over well and I don’t blame her! It was disgusting and lingered in your mouth for hours. Luckily she got over it without the meds but when I asked if there was a liquid alternative I was told there wasn’t. My normal Ped later informed me there was 2 oth... read more

The good: it is clean, and we usually don’t have a long wait. The providers are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, when my son was dosed antibiotics for strep throat, he was dosed too high, and I only caught the mistake because I knew how to do the math equation for mg/kg based on his weight. I called right away & didn’t receive a call back for 24 hours. With pediatric patients overd... read more

Had another helpful visit today. We were one of the first there on a weekday morning and were called back immediately (not always the case at other times, understandably). The receptionist, I believe it was Cynthia, was thorough and genuinely kind. I called her later to see if they’d sent the prescription over & they had, but she offered to call the pharmacy and check/offer anything additional they maybe needed. I appreciated that helpful offer. The RN and nurse practitioner we saw were both good to us, too with minimal wait... read more
