As a stepfather of a mixed child who I've asked to never say the N-word and someone who has protested against systemic racism, I am very disappointed that you have used your influence to get a teacher fired for reading an excerpt from "To Kill a Mockingbird." Contacted this office about racial discrimination I experienced by the Washington State’s Justice System and I received NO response. Do the Spokane NAACP care about our plight?
Contacted this office about racial discrimination I experienced at work and I received NO response. As to why this is here i have no idea but they are clearly not here to help POC! I'll be sure someone looks into this organization!
