We ordered two brisket sandwiches yesterday, and half of each sandwich was fat, rather than meat. I expect some fat with brisket, but each sandwich contained one large piece of the fat cap. Had I been eating in rather than doing takeout, I would have sent this back (something I haven’t had to do in years!). I’ve heard some bad reviews of Split Tree lately, but needed to see it for myself. This was once my go-to for barbecue when in BG, but I’ll never go back.

Came from out of town for the weekend and stopped here for. Wanted to try the local food and it was definitely worth it! The food was delicious, the place was nice and the staff was great! Will definitely go here again if I get the opportunity. Highly recommend!

What really shines about this Bbq was the 4 different sauces that were really good. I got the chopped pork with Mac and Cheese and Coleslaw. The chopped pork was amazing with the sauces (I used all 4). It was also just a really cool atmosphere with a lot of old memorabilia and taxidermy which I thought was cool.
