Just an FYI If your African American your not welcome here. My sister called today to inquire about getting her hair done and the women on the phone told her “We don’t do African American hair” Very Discriminating and also unprofessional my sister felt so discouraged after coming back state side and relocating to the St Augustine area. I loved this salon and the employees so much. The salon was beautiful and the front desk woman was wonderful and welcoming. Dede did such an amazing job with a color correction, tone, and cut. Although the cut and tone could be seen as a bit pricy to some, I think it was worth the money because this salon uses all luxury products. The color correction itself was reasonably priced. Aside the price, I’ve been getting my hair done around St. John’s for 4 years with little luck and Dede’s the first to do exactly what I wanted.

Dede did a great job on my highlights. I was, however, shocked to see that I was charged $160 when the online price quoted was $130. Also, $40 for a toner is highly overpriced. I’ve had multiple toners over the years and never paid more than $25 for that service, even at high end salons. Transparency is key here. If you charge $160 for highlights, fine.
