We got married on February 3, 2004 at this nice hotel and enjoyed a beautiful meal at Splashes Restaurant that we still remember fondly. We thought it would be appropriate to revisit and book a table for late lunch - and the menu shows "happy hour" which we do like a lot as we can get more of a spread of different dishes. Lovely venue, good service…. BUT… Went specifically for the advertised Monday night paella…. it was not on the menu? but waiter said they had it. It was $50 a person ) 2 of us) and tasted like almond extract rather than saffron?? Really was mostly mussels in the shell and rice. Very very disappointed with this mediocre but expensive paella.
Amazing meal! Staff was very friendly. We came for an anniversary dinner. Waitress greeted us with champagne and a beautiful table on the patio overlooking the ocean. Their suggestions for food were spot on. Couldn’t ask for a better anniversary dinner!
This review is long overdue, but needed to be written nonetheless. My now husband and I return to Splashes every year to celebrate milestones and anniversaries because they have consistently taken the absolute best care of us each and every time. This time (August '25) was no exception. Joanna took such wonderful care of us. Excellent spot for a date night out! Came here for dinner on a Saturday night and had a great experience! Restaurant is located on the lower section of a hotel right next to the beach. Ambiance is second to none. Patrick our waiter was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. Don’t miss out on the black truffle agnolotti! Special of the night was a dry aged ribeye that was cooked to perfection. Scallops were also fantastic. Ended the night with some of the carrot cake topped with mango. Will be back again!
