Always a phenomenal experience for my little man who has autism. Savannah was so so so so patient while my son was having a tough time during his haircut. Service like this makes me so immensely grateful. I highly highly highly recommend this salon if you are looking for a place that is autism/sensory friendly.
We’ve been to Splash of Style twice now; once for haircuts with Melanie and once for Mermaid Hair with Savanah. Both times were fantastic experiences!! Melanie and Savanah are great at what they do but more importantly they were kind and respectful of my kids. They made the experiences fun for both my son and my daughter. I was impressed with the setup of the salon and how willing both ladies were to adapt to whatever made the kids the most comfortable. We can’t recommend this salon enough! Ms Melanie has been cutting our son’s hair for the past four years, and every single time has been filled with patience, care, and kindness. She truly understands how to work with little ones who are nervous, and she always makes the experience feel safe and special. Today, they even surprised Jordan with a superhero badge to celebrate his bravery. If you’re looking for a kid-friendly salon that genuinely cares, this is the place to go!
Melanie is absolutely fabulous. She takes the time to get all of the kids comfortable, and her salon is just the most welcoming environment.
