Placed an online order at Spitz and asked to eat in when I arrived. I was told no in a dismissive way, as if I wasn’t welcome. Only after an awkward pause did they change their mind. Left feeling unwelcome and disappointed. Another visit: I had one of the worst customer service experiences here. All I wanted was a simple substitution: swap the juice box in my order for an iced tea. Last time, it wasn’t an issue. Have a really picky vegetarian, they loved their meal. Extremely good Mediterranean wraps and gyros.
Great place for drinks and food! Loved everything we tried and the staff was great. They have a great happy hour too.
The chicken gyro was very good and reasonably priced with mild tzatziki and loaded with French fries. The combo included mixed fries both sweet potato and regular fries. The meal was served hot and well seasoned. We opted for the complimentary cucumber and lime water and orange and apple water which were both refreshing and clean tasting. The baklava was a bit soggy but still very good. The next Fiddlers Green Amphitheater Concert will include a stop at Spitz.
