Spitony's Pizza has been a family tradition since 1975. It was started by Spiro Chakalos and his brother Tony Harris. Putting their names together wasn't the only thing they incorporated to make Spitonys unique and successful. They merged their families into the entire daily operation which continues today, three generations later.

I stopped in for a steak & cheese sub but got some way overdone microwave mystery meat thingy that cost me $10.00. So two bites and right in the trash it went. I couldn't help but to think they really got over on me on that deal. It won't happen again though. Disappointed at best.

It's right off of Rte 29 in New Baltimore..past the Saab dealership, next to the 7-eleven...GREAT place to go for pizza BUT our favorite is actually their Gyros and french fries. We love to go in the Fall and while my husband goes inside to order (and drink a frosty beverage or two) I wait outside with our pup...they have an outdoor sitting area (it's rather rustic but it's the perfect roadside family owned restaurant) that is dog and kid friendly. In the age of slick looking chain places, you'd probably skip this Mom and Pop restaurant. It is a hole in the wall, not much to look at inside or out. But they have great pizza, hand tossed right in front of you. I've enjoyed the sandwiches too. Cold beer on tap.
