Came within a whisker of booking my 10 year old son's birthday party for this weekend but decided against it a month or so ago based on a review that said it was very run down. It was already expensive for what it was ($11100 for 2 laps, a few slices of pizza and a can of soft drink). I was told by one of the other parents at the party that Spitfire had closed abruptly after taking people's deposits and payments up to a week ago leaving parents out of pocket and with no party. We understand that Spitfire has closed — we found out through a kind person who took the time to let us know. Unfortunately, many other families have not been so fortunate, only discovering the closure when arriving for already booked and fully paid kids’ parties. We had a party booked for next weekend, which was paid for in full upfront. Businesses going bankrupt can happen, and while disappointing, we understand that. recently visited Spitfire Sim Racing Centre in Concord and had a really fun and unique experience. If you enjoy cars, racing, or gaming, this place is definitely worth checking out. The simulators are quite impressive, with realistic steering, multiple screens, and immersive sound that makes you feel like you're actually on the track.
